JONES, of Georgetown, president; Dr. ROWLAND G. PAYNTER, of Georgetown, secretary ; MRS ELLA C. EMORY, of Seaford; MRS LENA M. TAMMENY, of Lewes; WILLIAM E. VALLIENT, of Laurel; HARRY L. CANNON, of Bridgeville, and IRA L. LONG, of Selbyville, as members of the Executive Committee. The League will have offices in Geeorgetown and MRS ADA CARTER has been apponted field secretary. Georgetown: To assist in the "Ship By Truck" movement, Georgetown will hold a public meeting Tuesday with DR. JOHN H. HAMMOND, president of the Council, and DANIEL J. LAYTON, as the speakers. Lewes: The Lewes Ice Company is having new oil burning engines installed in its plant. Washington Camp, P.O.S. of A. of Georgetown will entertain State Vice President, N. M. COMWAY, of Seaford, his staff and degree team next Wednesday, when a large class will be initiated.
