The schooner John A. Lingo of Milton which left there in Februry for Millville, N. J. has not ben heard of since and it is now feared that all on board have been lost. Captain HENRY CHANDLER of Dagsboro, was in command of her. ALFRED G. MASSEY, who lives on a farm near Dover, recently planted forty nine pear trees on his farm and now he has found that a thief took them up and carried them away. REV GEORGE HALL, a retired minister of the Episcopal Church at Seaford, is dead, aged 72 years. Many of the public schools in Sussex county have closed for the season.
