Article Text: Lewes, Del., Dec., 22, 1910: LEWIS ROBINSON, assistant light keeper of the 14 Foot Bank Lightship, suffered two weeks with a broken ankle before assistance came to him and he was able to get to shore to a physician. Distress signals were not understood, due to high wind and seas, by passing vessels. Light keeper WILSON returned from shore leave and found his assistant suffering from his injury.
