Sam Prettyman, a Lewes fisherman, caught the first shad of the season yesterday and presented it to Archdeacon Turner of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Lewes. The Daughters of America of Lewes, gave a banquet to its members last night and were addressed by Rev. William r. Mowbray, past councilor of the Jr. O.U.A.M. The Lewes Methodist Episcopal Sunday School has raised $250 for missions. A Parent's and Teacher's Associaion has been formed in Lewes, with Mrs Thomas Carpenter president and Mrs. Thomas Virden secretary. Nearly a foot of snow fell in Lower Delaware today. The churches of Georgetown Methodist Episcopal circuit habe asked for the return of their pastor, Rev. G. S.
