C. SMITH, left Norfolk on Wednesday afternoon for her first trip to Seaford. The Philadelphians are making calculations on the trade to be diverted from this route. It will no doubt facilitate the transportation of truck from Norfolk to the Quaker City., at least. At Seaford the the route connects with the Philadelphia and Delaware Railroad, placing passengers and freight in Philadelphia somewhat in advance of those by the Baltimore route and at less expense. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ DE-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news!
