Last night the School Board received the resignation of PROFESSOR FULMER, who has been so successful here, but who has been compelled to leave on account of ill health. The sudden decision of the principal to leave throws the School Board in a position where they must elect a successor by January or close the High School studies. Many of the citizens have expressed themselves in favor of nothing but a grammer course, contending that the three "R" are the only important studies for the children. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ DE-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news!
