The exercises consisted of vocal and instrumental music, recitations by the undergraduates and essays by the members of the graduating class. Rev. W. A. LEONARD of St. John Church, Bishop-elect of Southern Iowa, presented the diplomas to the graduates, and made a brief address. The graduates were Misses MAY CROUNSE and KATIE GILMAN. After the literary and musical exercises, a reception was held in the drawing room and parlors, and refreshments were served in the dining room.
