The deceased left the city about three weeks ago and since that time had been confined to his bed from a rheumatic attack in his left leg. It was not thought, however, that the complaint would prove fatal, and the news of his death was a great surprise to his friends and acquaintances in the city. The remains will reach the city on Friday. No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral. The deceased was a graduate of Harvard, and since leaving college had been engaged with his father in his law office.
