Birney & Birney, for divorce from Richard Owens Trent. The parties were married in Detroit, Michigan, December 9, 1875, by Rev. L.R. Fisk, her maiden name being Dandelet. One child, since deceased, was born of the union. On April 17, 1875, the defendant is alleged to have deserted his wife without cause, and has ever since refused to live with her as his wife, and has wholly neglected to provide for her support. Absolute divorce and the right to resume her former name is sought by the complainant. The defendant’s whereabouts are stated to be unknown, but he is supposed to be residing in Indian Territory at Fort Gibson. A suit for divorce has been instituted by Julia Dulany Peabody against her husband, J. K. Peabody. Mr. D. W. Glassie is counsel for the complainant, and Mr. E. R. D.
