He will be accompanied by Mme. Pueyrredon and their children. --- Dr. and Mrs. Vernon KELLOGG have postponed the dinner they were to give Saturday in honor of the Italian Ambassador, Prince Caetani, and the Ambassador of Japan and Mme. Hanihara. --- The Minister of Guatemala and Mme. Latour have postponed the dinner they were to give tonight in honor of Senator and Mrs. George H. MOSES. --- The ladies of the Senate will not meet at their usual Tuesday luncheon this week, but will continue the series next Tuesday. --- Dr. Bedoya, of the Peruvian embassy, entertained at dinner last evening at the Hamilton preceding the dance. His guests included Miss Elizabeth ADAMS, Miss Janet MOFFETT, Miss Barrine DRAKE, Miss Nina DIAMANTOPOULAS, Baron Plessen, Count de Laubespin, Mr. Robert Mendes Goncalves and Mr. Entezam of the Persian legation. --- The dinner the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury and Mrs. Eliot WADSWORTH were to give Saturday evening in compliment to the Secretary of State and Mrs. HUGHES has been canceled. --- The retiring Minister of Honduras and Mme. Cordova, accompanied by their daughter, Senorita Carmen Cordova, will leave Washington the latter part of the week for their home in Honduras. --- The Minister of Sweden and Mme. WALLENBERG have canceled the dinners on Thursday and Saturday evenings for which they have issued invitations. Mme. WALLENBERG will not observe her day at home Friday. --- Mme. Pelenyl, wife of the counselor of the Hungarian legation, will not receive this afternoon. --- Countess Sommati di Mombello will not be at home tomorrow. --- The former Attorney General and Mrs. A. Mitchell PALMER have canceled the dinner they were to give tomorrow evening in honor of former Gov. and Mrs. W. C. SPROUL. Mrs. Palmer will not observe her day at home. --- On account of the death of Woodrow Wilson, the dance to have been given this evening, the luncheon Thursday, and the Friday afternoon tea by the Congressional club, have been canceled. The business meeting of the club will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a. m. --- Mrs. David BLAIR has recalled the invitations for the luncheon she was to give tomorrow. --- Mrs. Louis T. McFADDEN has postponed the luncheon she was to give tomorrow at the Hamilton in compliment to Mrs. David A. REED. --- Senator and Mrs. George Wharton PEPPER have postponed the dinner they were to give tomorrow evening. --- Mrs. Harriet Taylor UPTON will not receive this afternoon. --- Mrs. Walter F. GEORGE, wife of Senator GEORGE of Georgia, has postponed her at home which was to be Thursday. --- Mrs. Albert CLEMONS, of 1615 New Hampshire avenue, will not receive tomorrow. --- Mrs. FERRIS, wife of Senator Woodbridge N. FERRIS, of Michigan, will not be at home this afternoon. --- Mrs. STELLWAGEN has postponed her luncheon at the Willard tomorrow until after the return of Mrs. Ridley McLEAN from the South. --- Miss Janet MOFFETT heads the list of debutantes who will usher at the D. A. R. hall this evening at the debate between Prof. William McDOUGALL, of Harvard, and Dr. John WATSON, formerly of Johns Hopkins university, now of New York, and will be assisted by Miss Nina DIAMANTOPOULOS, Miss Claudia READ, Miss Ruth STODDARD, Miss Margaret ZOLNAY, Miss Betty HAYNES, Miss Helen STRAUSS and Miss Jane HOPKINS. --- Mrs. Alva B. ADAMS has canceled her invitations for an at - home Thursday afternoon. --- Mrs. Charles LOWNDES, who is at the Naval hospital, has canceled her at-home for tomorrow afternoon. --- Mrs. John Hays HAMMOND and Miss Natalie HAMMOND left town last evening for Hot Springs, Va., to remain about a fortnight. --- Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. SIDWELL have postponed the musicale they were to give tomorrow afternoon at their residence on Wyoming avenue. --- Mrs. William Mather LEWIS, wife of the president of George Washington university, will not be at home this afternoon. --- Miss Beatrice BECK, daughter of the Solicitor General and Mrs. James M. BECK, returned to Washington yesterday from New York, where she has been the guest of Miss Laura HARDING. --- Miss Ruth DONALDSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Golden DONALDSON, will arrive in New York next Tuesday aboard the Berengaria from Europe. She will join Mr. and Mrs. DONALDSON at Palm Beach. --- Rear Admiral and Mrs. KIMBALL entertained at dinner Saturday evening in honor of Vice Admiral Kenji Ide, Imperial Japanese navy.
