David Lewis, indicted for larceny, was found guilty and sentenced to 18 months in the Penitentiary; George Williamson, alias Henry Cummings, indicted for larceny, found guilty and sentenced to one year in the penitentiary. The case of John Long, for assault and battery with intent to kill Rezin Pumphrey occupied the remainder of the ay and all yesterday. The jury returned a verdict of guilty of assault and battery only.
