Increase Sumner Kimball, the Nestor of the New York County Bar, died today aged 87 years. His son, Sumner I. Kimball, is Chief of the United States Life Saving Service, at Washington. Boston, July 6: Col. William Valentine Hutchings died at Auburndale this morning of erysipelas. He was 63 years of age. He was one of Boston's most successful underwriters. Jersey City, NJ, July 26: Charles B. Smith, Assistant Superintendent of Adams Express Company, in this city, died in the Windsor County Insane Asylum yesterday. He mind became deranged by worriment over the loss of a packet containing $40,000, in transit from new York and not received by him. This occurred about a year ago.
