John P. Wailes and Mary H., his wife, administratrix of John Gantt, vs. Levin J. B. C. Wailes, and Rebecca his wife, and others, heirs of Leonard Covington. By virtue of a decree, signed in this cause, the subscriber will sell, at public sale, at Boswell's Tavern, in the town of Nottingham, on Wednesday, January 18 (if fair, if not, the next fair day thereafter) the whole, or so much of a tract of land called Covington's Farm, lying on the Patuxent River in said County, whereof Leonard Covington died seized, as may be necessary to pay the complainants the sum of $322.57-1/4 current money, with interest thereon from February 18, 1812, and the costs of their suit in this behalf. The terms of sale are, that one half of the purchase money be paid at the expiration of six, and the residue at the expiration of 12 months, the whole to be secured by bond with approved security, bearing interest from the day of sale. Upon the ratification of the sale by the Court, and payment of the whole purchase money, the subscriber will convey to the purchaser all the right and title of the said Leonard Covington, in and to the land sold, both at ! law and in equity.
