BALL, of Uniontown, will meet tomorrow in the 36-hold final contest for the North and South amateur championship tittle. NEWTON defeated Franklin H. GATES, of Moore county, is the semifinals today, 2 and 1. BEALL won from J. W. WELLS of the Kenilworth Club by the same score. Both of the Washington golfers in the consolidation section won their matches today. Donald PARSON, of Chevy Chase, defeated Frank S. DANFORTH, of North Fork, 2 and 1 and will meet Edward STYLES, of the Washington Golf and Country Club, in the final. STYLES had a surprisingly easy victory over C. G. WALDO, jr., of Detroit, winning 4 and 3. John H. CLAPP, of Chevy Chase in the third sixteen defeated F. C.
