Death was due to acute indigestion. Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. John T. Ensor, of Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Friebus was the daughter of Dr. Van Tyne and Mrs. Mary Van Tyne. She was married to Mr. Friebus May 11, 1865. Just a week ago the couple celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding. Besides her husband, Mrs. Friebus leaves a son, Theodore Friebus, Jr., a daughter, Mrs. Paul Grove, and three grandchildren, Reginald Theodore Friebus, Florence M. Had on and took with him one white nankeen waistcoat with sleeves striped, one pair buckskin trousers, one pair of Ruffia (Russia?) sheeting, one pair of chicksett breeches, new shoes lined and bound, a real beaver hat about half worn. He is stout made and walks very upright. Any person that will secure said apprentice in any jail so that I get him again shall receive $5 if within the District and $10 if without. W. Morgan died yesterday morning at his residence in the Navy Yard of which place he was in command. In some of the most sanguinary actions during the last war with England, Commodore Morgan was distinguished by his bravery. He had been 45 years in the service of his country, and died respected and esteemed by all who knew him. The flags of the United States steamers in the river, and those at the Navy Yard and the Garrison were half-masted, and orders issued by the Department for the observance of the usual testimonials of respect.
