I am a direct line of Phebe Nokes and it would be wonderful if your William is a brother of hers. Phebe Nokes was born Nov. 3, 1804 and was a daughter of George Nokes and Catherine Parry of Trehilig. Phebe married Thomas E. Davies at St. Mary's Parish Church in Welshpool, Montgomeryshire, Wales on February 26, 1827. I don't know any information about her family or her ancestors.
