John Evan must have had a wife before Elizabeth, and the first wife and John Evan must have had a son whose children the following belong to: The children are: Thomas b. 1772 m/ Mary Bromwell Mary b. 1780 Anne b. 1787 William b. 1789 Robert b. 1791 Margaret b. 1793 Sarah b. 1796 There is a death record of a Thomas Davies born 1756 and died 1847 who had a son Thomas (who could be the Thomas b. 1772 in the list above).
