Hello Listers, I would be pleased for any help on my query regarding my GG Grandfather & GG Grandmother, I have no idea of thier first names or dates of birth, It is thought that they came from Wales in the early to mid 1800's and settled in Hackney, Middlesex. My great grandfather Thomas was born Hackney in 1855 becoming a brickmaker by trade, again I do not know his wifes (my great grandmothers) name. Thomas Davies then moved from Hackney to live in Fernhurst Parish, West Sussex, My grandfather also Thomas, was I understand born in Fernhurst, he also took up the trade of brickmaker, and I think Thomas senior managed the old brickworks in Hammer, close to Haslemere,in Surrey. I am aware this is not a lot to go on, but it's not often an awkward query beats the listers. Thanks in advance. Rob Baker. West Sussex.
