Hi, I'm new to this list but subscribe to many others. I have recently discovered a connection with Davies from Everton, Liverpool. My 2xgreat aunt Mary Ellen Cropper married Richard Davies in Liverpool in 1880. By 1891 the couple had at least 4 children, Mary Ellen Davies born about 1882, Richard jnr born about 1883, Harry (Henry) born about 1886 and Annie born about 1890. In 1901 the parents don't show up at all although there is a death recorded for Richard Davies of the right age. 1901 shows Mary Ellen jnr had married Frank E Taylor and the couple were living with Mary Ellen's 3 brothers, Richard, Henry and Jack. No sign of Annie either. I have another Davies family (no connection as yet). Emma Davies born about 1853 in Liverpool married James Stephen Maybury in 1877. James sister Ellen Maybury married John Cropper. Does anyone connect with these families. Regards Syl - UK
