Ada Bertha Caroline Davies was the daughter of David Robert Davies and Caroline Phillips Davies, married in Liverpool, England in 1869. They came to this country after Ada's birth, but before the birth of their other children. David Robert was a blacksmith. Most of the family is buried at Mt. laurel Cemetery, Paterson, NJ. Mygrandfather, also David Robert, was one of their later children. Caroline Phillips was born in Wales, David Robert Sr., in Liverpool. Her father was George Phillips, his was Robert Davies.
