I have researched a train accident that happened in Fossil in 1897 wherein a young man named William Young was killed. Fred Cook was one of the witnesses to the accident. He gave a witness statement for the coroner's report, stating he had attempted to crawl into the caboose and save William. Do you know if Fred Cook kept any kind of journal where he might have written more information about this? Any ideas at all? If you could contact me I would appreciate it.
