He worked in a woolen mill in an area called "Checkerboard" in New York state. He moved to Mishawaka, Indiana, U.S.A. and worked in the Mishawaka Woolen Mills. He had a known brother and sister. Edward Robert married Lillian Hickey in South Bend, Indiana and had 2 daughters and 2 sons. Would anyone know about this individual? This is really a "shot in the dark" - since I've never posted a note before and can't imagine anyone will have information about him. He is my grandfather.
