He had a brother named Charles Davies. My grandfather, Joseph came to the United States in 1888 to New York. He had a brother named Charles. The two brothers bought a race horse and followed the racing circut, racing in various tracks. My grandfather boarded with the widow Christoffel in New Orleans when he would come to race his horse. I do not know if Charles boarded with the widow or not. If this matches any of your info. Please reply.
