I find that Llandysul is the same place, just a name change somewhere along the years.?? We know from his marriage documents that his father was DAVID DAVIES. The closest record I can find at the moment is of a Richard Davies b1811 to David and Jane, Nantcwnlle, Cardingan. David b abt 1785 and Jane b abt 1789. David and Richard were at some future time, farmers in Shropshire. Does this ring any bells with anyone or can anyone with a knowledge of these areas tell me if I am on the right track?
