B 5. Her burial is posted at Findagrave.com. She is not a relative of the writer. Mrs. Funke-Davies was born in Elkton, Maryland on December 6, 1959 to Richard E. & Sandra Reynolds Funke of Elkton. She died on Saturday, June 10, 2006 in Oakton, Virginia. She was a 1977 graduate of Elkton High School and was a history major at Franklin & Marshall College where she received her degree in 1981. She married and moved to Virginia in 1984 where she had an established career in banking. Mrs. Funke-Davies is survived by her husband of 21 years, Edward C. Davies; children, Ashley & Colbey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Matthew G. & Nancy Funke of Elkton and Barton & Andrea Funke of Earleville, MD; her grandmother, Ruth G. Funke of Elkton. Her funeral service will be conducted today, Tuesday, June 13, at the Elkton United Methodist Church. Interment to follow in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery in Cherry Hill, MD.
