Grace Davies was married 21 aug 1859 in Stoke Damerel,Lincoln.England.note this is somewhat unusal for the time. too Joseph Peter Richards Truro.b 12 sept 1822 mulor d aft 1891 .? children *Leonidas Truro b 21 may 1860 but chr 19 june Mylor.died 15 sept 1923 Centerville,Davis Co Utah, buried Mt Olivet Cemeery as his second wife is.see Collins-l@rootsweb.com.for more info. *Jane Davies Truro b 3 nov 1861 Mylor *Mary Hendrea Truro b abt 1865 Flushing Joseph and grace are on the 1871 census for mylor dist 2 sch 118 Joseph age 49 was a Ships Carpenter Grace age 39 was a Dressmaker.Jane was not listed presumed deceased.? Warren family notes that apply here. William and Sarah.Warren above Joseph had a sister Elizabeth Johanna Hendra Truro. She Married James Richards Warren b abt 1833 Flushing.there daughter Lucinda Ambrosine Truro Warren is my great grand mother. Joseph and Elizabeth Truro were born to William Richards Truro b 1790 Flushing and Mary Hendra b abt 1791. this is why Joseph and Grace's daughter Mary Hendrea Truro has the middle name [cornish naming tradition.] Wiliam Richards Truro is the son of Peter Truro Both Peter and William operated the Seven Stars Inn in Flushing.Peter was born in Bengal India in 1767 and adopted into the Truro family He was "black".Mother liked Curry.
