I would be interested in contacting anyone researching the following line: Thomas Daniel DAVIES c 1879, Blaenavon, Monmouthshire, who married Beatrice Alice WOOD, bn 14 April 1884, Wellington, Somerset. Thomas and Beatrice married about 1903. Beatrice's parents were my great grandparents William Henry WOOD and Deahlia THORNE, both bn Somerset. Thomas and Beatrice had two children that I know of: Naomi DAVIES (was QAIMNS during WWII in Singapore) and another daughter, name not known to me, but possibly Florence. Thank you. John's wife is Unk but according to cornish custom the grand daughter gives it away as Hoskin.When you go back so far quite often the womens maiden name is left out.John had 5 children from 1769-1774 in Flushing..One William the first child married an Elizabeth Bunter,Mary Bunter Davies b abt 1806 never married.the 1881 census for @ 87 St Peters Terrace Flushing show her residing with family,William and Sarah Warren.she is listed as there aunt.this will make sence soon. They had about 11 children. They immigrated to the US from Wales in the late 1800's and lived in the state of Maine until they died in the early 1900's. I know that Zachariah was born in 1858 and Martha was born in 1860. and they show up as being married in the 1881 census in Wales.
