Thanks for the reply! I have the Knaggs tracked back many more generations. They originally came from Whitby. My William and Elizabeth spent their whole lives in London. I don't think the ones you so kindly found are my lot, but I really do appreciate the input.
I am looking for any information on my ancestor, Elizabeth Ann Davies, who was born in London, England about 1829. There in 1853 she married William John Knaggs, who was born in London in 1829. They had at least three children: James George, William, and Elizabeth Ann. Any further info on Elizabeth would be most appreciated.

They were brothers according to my records. In 1980, the Senlac History Book Committee published a book called "Out of the Past". My family submitted information, as they were from the "Long Lake School District". In the "Canadian School District" section the Maurice Davies that you spoke of submitted an article about his father William Haworth Davies, and Isabella is listed as his daughter, as well as Annie Isabella (Jeffries) Tyacke as his wife. If you can give me your e-mail address, I can send you the article as my scanner has the PDF function that reduces the file so it can be sent successfully. Maurice says that his father William was born in Llaurmor, North Wales on Feb. 25, 1877, by the way. I would like to find the family of William and my Thomas in Wales...I once thought that the parents were Maurice and Mary Hughes Davies, but one of the cousins here has a Bible that shows that Mary's maiden name was not Hughes but Parry. I would enjoy exchanging information. Beverly Land

John Evan must have had a wife before Elizabeth, and the first wife and John Evan must have had a son whose children the following belong to: The children are: Thomas b. 1772 m/ Mary Bromwell Mary b. 1780 Anne b. 1787 William b. 1789 Robert b. 1791 Margaret b. 1793 Sarah b. 1796 There is a death record of a Thomas Davies born 1756 and died 1847 who had a son Thomas (who could be the Thomas b. 1772 in the list above). This would fit in the generation gap. Any info on any of these would be appreciated. Raine Davies

I've only just tracked down this branch of my tree. James and Norah were the parents of my Grandfather, John Francis Davies, who had siblings Wilfred and Winifred. All born just AFTER the 1901 census, unfortunately! Pretty sure Wilfred and Winifred had no children...she apparently never married, and Wilf was a Catholic priest! All lived and died in and around Staffordshire, England. The Darrigan/Derigan name is Irish in origin...I think Norah's mum was one Bridget Darrigan, born in Ireland. Norah had quite a few siblings, and I was hoping to track down some of them if possible.
