Ruth, Thanks for your information. I am not sure what record shows a Sarah Ellis being married to an Abraham Davidson, but a Sarah Ellis married an Alexander Davidson from an unrelated Davidson family (that family had also been in VA at one time). Coincidentally, one of their children was named Abraham. That family is shown on the Davidson/Davison/Davisson DNA website as part of "Family 8" (goes back to an earlier Alexander Davidson who was from Dingwall Scotland in the 1600s). Based on your input, it would appear that the Joseph Davidson of Pittsylvania Co., VA was the only one of the three brothers who was not married to a Chilton. Best regards, Bill Davidson
