    2. The davidson of my line are descended from a Edward Davidson and Elizabeth Married 1808 in SC He is from SC She from NC. they moved to Grainger Co TN around 1810. Raised about ten children in Grainger Co. My Great grand dad Nathaniel was one of the children. He and most of the children moved on to Marshall Co AL around 1830. Most all people who traveled at that time in the mountains of the Applicians would use some type of river travel. Look at the upper Tenn River. It starts about Grainger Co. and Marshall Co is as far south as it goes before turning north again to TN. That is why lots of familys moved from Grainger to Marshall. I am trying to find any Davidson with Connections to Grainger who is doing Family Research. I do not know Edwards Parents or Bro & Sis. Although I do have a large amount of data on Edward and his Descendants. JDD

    3. Hi, Probably not the same family, but I have a Blane (Bleir) Davison (Davidson) who married Dorkas (Dorcas) Cunningham in grainger co., Nov. 8th 1800. Dorcas was probably from North Carolina. This line of Davidsons spent a short time in Indiana before finally moving on to Illinois. I am not closing my mind to any possibilities because after my uncle submiited to the Davidson DNA project our close matches were not what I expected. Often families split and went different directions. I Don't have sibling info for Blane or parents although several researchers believe his fathers name was Samuel.
