One of my family connections, John DOIG , born in Glasgow in 1882 sailed for Canada in 1903. He served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in WWI. On his army paysheet, it notes that he arranged to have $20 sent to his cousin Donald Davidson of 87 McKenzie Crescent, Toronto every month starting in April 1918. John Doig appeared on the Canadian census of 1911 living in Toronto but he must have moved to British Columbia at some point as it was there in Victoria that he enlisted in 1915. This cousin Donald Davidson is a complete mystery to us all. No one has been able to find a Davidson connection to our John Doig family. So any suggestions would be much appreciated. Sheila
