    3. The following obituaries are a bit old, but of two relatives, best of friends who enjoyed just being together. Andrew Rodenhizer resided on the original land grant at First Peninsula, Lunenburg County, NS, dating back to 1753. Muriel M. ANDREW RODENHIZER, 88, of First Peninsula passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in First Peninsula, he was the son of the late Albert Freeman and Emma Winnifred (Beck) Rodenhizer. In his earlier years Andrew served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment and later served overseas with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders Infantry. After the war he returned homewhere he operatedthe family farm and worked at National Sea Products, Lunenburg, retiring with over forty years service. Andrew had a great fondness for music, where over the years he was a member of the HighLinerchoir, and along with wife Verona, was instrumental in starting the R's Family Band. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the church choir and served on various boards of the church. Andrew was a most kind and loving friend and will be remembered for his love of life, and spending time at home with family and friends. He is survived by a son, William and his wife Elsie, First Peninsula, daughter, Andrea and her husband Brad Gabriel, Blockhouse, four grandchildren, David, Denise, Byron and Wendy and four nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Verona and infant brother and sister Pauline. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg, NS. ==================================================== WILLIAM "BILL" DAVIDSON, Suddenly on Monday November 21, 2005 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Veteran's Wing at the age of 92. Born on October 26, 1913, son of the late James T. and Elizabeth (Rhodenizer) Davidson, of Ecum Secum, Nova Scotia. Loving husband of Muriel Davidson (nee Farquhar) of 60 years. Father of Don, Randy (Charlene) Davidson, Lynden (Michael) Cowan of Brampton. Father of Laurie (Lorna), Geneva (Bruce) Dean, Marie (Jack) Malloy, and Dennis from a previous marriage to Gladys Lillian (Fancy) Mullock of Marie Joseph in Nova Scotia. Grandfather to Diane Davidson, Amy (Davidson) Ransom, Michelle Cowan and Robert Cowan and 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson in Nova Scotia. Bill is survived by sister Shirley (Jim) Kloepher, Bethany, ON. Predeceased by siblings Charlotte, Evelyn, Chester, Lloyd, Allister, Leonardand sister Ruth Seeton. Bill was a Chief Shipwright in the RCNVR, WWII. Bill was active in many sports groups in Brampton, was president of his Carpenter's Union. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 15 for 38 Years, and a member of MacKenzie Branch 414, Woodbridge, at the time of death. Visitation was held at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME, Brampton Chapel, 289 Main St N. Brampton from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m on Wednesday November 23rd. Funeral Services to be held on Thursday November 24th, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Internment at Brampton Cemetery.
