There was a John Davidson (1)who m. Jane________Davidson, she later married William Morrison, he was Administrater of her late husbands estate. Per records or the Carolina Cradle by Robert W. Ramsey stated that John Davidson died on the headwaters of the creek which bears his name. Estate= 650 acre survey was granted to his brother George(2) he also acquired additional tracts in 1752 & 1753.
