Dave -- it is better than my cousin -- it is my brother who will be taking the DNA test. He (of course) is another John Elmo Davidson. As I said in my note -- the only thing I am 100% sure about anymore is that John Davidson (Revolutionary Soldier) was my great great great grandfather and he was born in 1760 or 1761 in Pennsylvania - on the Schuylkill River near Philadelphia. I will go backwards for you starting with my father and then my grandfathers. I am sure of each of these -- and their children. I will feel better about the first John Davidson -- when I find documents to prove he was my gggggrandfather. My focus has been filling in the name of some of the wives. I am not sure this will ever happen. Their maiden names seems to vanish in thin air, once they get married. Zack Chambliss Davidson -- my father David Elmo Davidson -- grandfather William R.
