The estate paperwork I have of an Albert J.(or I.) Davidson who died in Johnson County Missouri December 15, 1844, state under oath through their lawyer that this Albert J. Davidson is the son of Isaac Davidson of Barren County Kentucky...it states the other heirs of this Albert J. Davidson are siblings Allen Davidson, William B. Davidson Benjamin (H? or K) Davidson, Isaac W. Davidson, Winston F. Davidson, and Matilda C. Davidson all of Barren County Kentucky...There is also makes mention of a Elijah Davidson and a E & A J Davidson, I assume this is a company. In the limited research I did, I figured this Albert J. Davidson was the same son of Isaac Davidson from Barren County Ky married to Susannah Dodd, especially since they had children with the same names as what I have...on the Davidson research site I found in the 1850 Census of Barren County living with L. B. Hall and family was an Albert (Bishop) Davidson s/o Isaac Davidson and Susannah Dodd...with the remarks "Lunatic"....I was just assuming this research was correct, I figure this family of Davidson's must somehow be related to my family of Davidson's which lived in the same area at this same time... I surely didn't mean to imply that this Albert J. Davidson wasn't the Albert Bishop Davidson shown as the son of Isaac Davidson...but facts are facts...I have it from 1844 from a lawyer and each one of these people signed with seals. This isn't my direct family that I know of, I'm just researching the area of which my Davidson's lived. I do know from other Johnson County Records this Albert J. Davidson purchased land in Johnson County...it would appear his estate concluded a couple sales after his death. The names of this Davidson family have some similar names as my line...so this Davidson line could very well be part of my line. I don't know these Davidson's, but plan to look further into their family, for a possible connection to my Davidson line. If you have any questions please feel free to email me...I believe I've seen your postings in several places, and I surely have a lot of questions for you, since you seem to know a lot about this family. Thank you so much for your feelings on MY posting.
