Shirley Davidson COLUMBUS - Shirley Marsh Davidson, 85, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at her home. She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Nashville, Tenn., to the late Anna Gibson and Ross D. Marsh. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Columbus. She was a former member of the Altrusa Club in Columbus. She was very active in the PTA at Columbus schools. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point with Sam Davidson officiating. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her husband, John W. Davidson of Columbus; three sons, Edward Davidson of Neodesha, Kan., Philip Davidson of Niceville, Fla., and Steve Davidson of Nashville, Tenn.; four daughters, Judy Ashmore of West Point, Rachel Rinks of Pascagoula, Dot Barickman of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Kitty Davidson of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; one sister, Janes Pruitt of Pittsburgh, Penn.; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Roger Davidson; and a br other, Ashton Marsh. Pallbearers will be Tommy Casteel, Virgil Ashmore, Grady Jaynes, Eddie Hawkins and Eddie Persons.
