Good evening Bill, I am very much aware of the connections but I will have to get to the GA state archives to find some clues on how to get my family out of Georgia. I do recall some of my great grandfather's early papers were spelling his name as DAVISON and after the civil war his name changed to be spelled Davidson. The Abney family which was the one into which he married was in Lee and Chambers County, AL and Muscogee County, GA. Alvie L.
