James is my g-g grandfather. I have traced them back to 1830 in Fentress County, Tennessee, I believe that is them, it gets a little confusing before 1850. They don't give names except for the head of the household. And I just figured it was them with the age of the children and such. Check out the 1850 Census in Effingham Co., Mason Township. James H. 5- b. 1845-Ill. Daniel M. 3- b. 1847-Ill. Martha B. 1- b. 1849-Ill. 1860 Nathan- b. 1850? he showed up in the 1860 Lewis 9 b. 1851 Ill. My g grandfather. John A 3 b. 1857- Ill. I kind of gave up, I was worn out working so hard on this stuff. My part of the family ended up in Indian Territory in Okla. I need to go down there to Huges and Red Oak, as I don't live too far from there.
