    3. Dave - Just a clarification. I don't know John Wallace Davidson's connection. I "think" he could be the son of John, brother to Abraham and Joseph -- that would make him a nephew. It is also possible that he could be a grandson of John -- throwing another generation in between and that seems more logical to me. IF John, who married Rachel Chilton in Pittsylvania Co., VA in 1786 had children before 1790, then its possible that the John who died 1815 in Alabama could be his son John Wallace Davidson supposedly went to live with his aunt, Lucinda Davidson Perkins, after his father died in 1815. John Wallace was born ca 1814. Aunt Lucinda (Lucy) was married to Ephraim Perkins and they were in Humphreys Col, TN in 1830. Lucinda was born ca 1802. Big puzzle trying to figure out this family. Davidson from Pittsylvania, VA. have already had our DNA tested and posted on the Family Tree DNA website. If John Wallace Davidson is a brother of our Abraham and Joseph Davison than shouldn't we be at the very least a close match? dave >From: Ruth Kent >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [DAVIDSON] Davidsons in AL-About 1818 and Beyond >Date: Mon, 11 Dec 2006 07:17:24 -0800 (PST) > >Is this the same John Davidson who has been identified as the father of >John Wallace Davidson.
