She married Rev. Ralph McGhee and died when her only child, Willis, my ggg grandfather, was an infant. He was reared by his grandfather, James Davidson, who moved from Warrior Creek in Wilkes County to Brushy Fork in what is now Watauga County, as did Willis McGhee, who married into the Councill Family.
