Greetings, I am posting for the few people who may remember this wonderful woman. Kellis NITA DAVIDSON SOLOMON Mrs. Nita Davidson Solomon passed away peacefully on August 28, seven days after her 90th birthday. She was born in Stephenville, Texas on August 21, 1918 to the late James K. and Ruby Hale Davidson. She was predeceased by her husband Burrel Solomon and infant son Laurence. She is survived by three sons Kellis and wife Denise of Apex, Robert and friend Sherry Kahney, and Michael all of Wilmington. She is also survived by five daughters, Faye of Wilmington, Nancy Martin and husband Harry of Boiling Spring Lakes, Jane Kinney and husband Wink of Pinehurst, Cindy Yelverton and husband Eddie of Fremont and Sue of Wilmington. She will also be remembered by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, special nephews Frank and Dave Coley, and her brother Jimmy Davidson of Odessa, Texas. Pall bearers will be grandsons Eugene Wells, Timothy Wells, Chris Harrington, Brian Wells, James Wells and nephew Dave Coley. Visitation will be Monday night, September 1st from 7:00- 8:30 pm at Andrews Mortuary on Market Street. The funeral will be Tuesday, September 2nd at Andrews Mortuary Chapel at 11:00 am with interment to follow at the Wilmington National Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Britthaven of Wrightsville Beach for their care and friendship to mother.
