The Tammany Parish Davidsons I am seeking, posted genealogy on Ancestry.com about eight years ago and on another Davidson forum during the same time period. Just trying to cover all the bases. My family and their's both claim to descend from William Davidson & Elizabeth Charlton, married in Montgomery County, Virginia in 1785. I have never found source documentation actually connecting my Davidson middle Tennessee family with the Tammany Parish, Louisiana Davidson. I figure DNA may establish a connection or not.
