My great grandmother (along with my grandmother and mom) are from west TN. My mom's name is Mary Zon (named after her great-grandmother, Zula Zong). My grandmother didn't discover until a few years ago (after finding her mother's Bible) that her mother's name was actually Zula Zong insted of Zula Zon. I looked the name Zong up on the internet and discovered the song created for Zula Zong. I am interested in finding out more about this song in order to uncover more of my family tree.
