This would prove or disprove once and for all if this was REALLY the same overall Davidson family as the family of General William Lee Davidson. The General's family is "represented" by the several donors in "Family 1" on the Davidson/Davison/Davisson DNA website at: www.davidsongenes.org. I once met a man from your Davidson family at the Library of VA in Richmond, and I suggested the DNA test. It appears, however, that he did not take the test (since we have no donors who claim to "trace back" to your Robert Davidson).
