Greg, This is an answer to your below query. I know that a Davidson family settled in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. They were from Alabama or Georgia many years ago. They have a Davidson cemetery there -- at least they did before Katrina. They are not my Davidson family. They were a pretty prominent family in that area. Ocean Springs is near Gulfport, Mississippi. Wish I could tell you more, but this is all I know about them.
