Ordered by the Court that Jacob Davidson be appointed overseer of the road leading from Carrollsville from Indian Creek to James Watsons and to have the following hands. Several named including William Davidson. Record Book D, page 181 March 2, 1846. George Davidson appointed overseer of the road in place of James Davidson. Hardin County Deed Book G, page 317: For love and affection for his son Jeremiah Davidson, Jacob Davidson gives land - 23 acres and another tract of 50 acres 1 Nov 1845. Signed by his Mark X (Jacob Davidson) 1833 Hardin County census of males 21 years of age, taken for voting purposes?? List s Jacob Davidson, Robert Davidson and Joseph Davidson having consecutive census number meaning living close or in same household. Anyway that's what I get from these old notes.
