Dear List: This is Kay. My virus protection, Norton Antivirus, has been intercepting messages that contain the W32 virus. This message is to implore all of you to make sure your virus protection is up-to-date so that all the hard work all of you have completed is not messed up by the most current seige going around. The virus that was detected is the W32.Badtrans.B@mm virus. This virus is going around in grand style. If you have any questions please go to http://www.norton.com website and check out this virus. On the personal side, I had McAffee virus protection and it failed to detect a virus that really messed up our computer. After the last viral infection we talked with the techs at our local computer store and they highly recommended Norton Antivirus, Norton SystemWorks, Norton Internet Security as programs that detect viruses much better than McAffee. I am not a rep for Norton, nor am I talking any other virus protection provider, but I am thankful that it is saving all the work I've done on the family and our other computer work. For those of you who are happy with McAffee, I am happy for you and would heartily endorse any improvements they made in their virus protection program. If you receive any email message with an underscore in front of the address, such as _ldkd95@skeynet.net do not open it (also do not us this hypelink, it will bounce back to you). All of you have no idea how much I love receiving messages from you so this message is not a complaint, it is an advance notice of problems I've been working to resolve. God bless you all.
