Assuming, I know, we shouldn't assume but most doing research on a specific surname are probably related... therefore I'm assuming you're possibly a Davidson cousin. I don't know about Verne Davidson but there are in the Montgomery Co. and West central Indiana descendents of Robert L. and William F.Davidson,brothers, who came into the area about 1830 and some of the cousins are quite knowledgable of the family history...
