Jane, There's a family rumor that William BELL DAVIDSON, my ggrandfather, stowed away to America with a brother/cousin. He ended up as a registered Pharmacist in Arkansas before he crossed the river into Indian Territory (Tamaha, OK, today) where he died in 1906. My grandmother, who was proned to exaggerate, said she saw a picture of his home in Scotland and it looked like a castle. Don't know what that means!!!
