Although not on most lists, a James Davison of Washington county, Va. should be added to the Rev. War list. He is noted in Drapers papers as having given a deposition in the Campbell-Sevier-Shelby controvery but the dtthe deposition, used by most to compile a list of those at Kings Mountain, was not included. The deposition, however, was included in the Campbell papers and it described James' memory of the involvement of Col.
