Becky, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. >From another Davidson researcher I was made aware there were two , if not more, William Davidsons. My ancestor William Davidson, father of my ancestor Fleming Davidson, was born 25 Dec. 1725 in Scotland(?). He married Sarah Mary Fleming. Their children were Fleming, born in 1763 in Bucks Co., PA.; William, John, James, and Margaret. Don't have their birth years. The other William Davidson born about the same time period was married to Jane Stuart Fleming. His father was a John Davidson. I do not know the name of my ancestor William Davidson's father. The duplication of surnames gets confusing. My ancestor Fleming married Margaret Lattimore. There is another Davidson, not of my line named Elias Davidson that married a Lattimore. I can not find a Joshua in my Davidson line. There is a Robert L.Davidson , son of Fleming and Margaret Lattimore, that was born 2 Feb. 1795/96, (the date is off for your research), he married Catherine Hilliard about 1818 in PA. I am still trying to find the Seven Davidson brothers that fought in the Revolutionary War. Nothing documented , just mentioned in a biographical sketch. No one seems to be able to connect these Davidson men. Lois
